On September 14, 2021, Osman Chalishkan Mzhavanadze, Chairman of the International Investors Association of Georgia, visited the Governor of Kemalpaşa, Mehmet Faruk Saigin, congratulated him on his appointment and wished him success. During the meeting, the parties discussed the economic and global problems caused by the Corona virus and ways to solve them. Also, Mr. Osman provided Mr. Mehmet with information about the members and activities of the Association.

The Chairman of the Association informed Mr. Zafer about the investment environment in Georgia and called on Trabzon investors to invest in Georgia.

With the support of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency TİKA, the New Reconciliation Cooperative has organized two greenhouses in the vicinity of the airport. The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Adjara Irma Abkhazava, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Georgia Fatma Ceren Yazgan, the Consul General of Turkey in BatumiRiza Kagan Yilmaz, and the Coordinator of the Tbilisi Office of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency Necla Demirdag. Osman Chalishkan Mzhavanadze, Chairman of the Investors' Association, also attended the opening ceremony. The greenhouses are aimed at promoting agriculture and introducing new innovations.

On August 4, Necla Demirdag, Coordinator of the Tbilisi Office of the Turkish International Cooperation and Coordination Agency, visited the International Investors Association of Georgia. During the meeting, the parties discussed the difficult situation created by the pandemic, and jointly planning various events and activities in the future. The chairman of the Association thanked Ms. Necla for her visit to the Association.

August 19th the Director of Turkish Airlines in Georgia, Sherafettin Ekici and the representative of Turkish Airlines in Batumi, Ozgur Agca visited the  International Investors Association of Georgia.  During the meeting, the parties discussed about  the global problems caused by the Corona virus pandemic and the industries that have suffered the most from the Corona virus, the importance of restoring air traffic and the need to create a safe environment for travel.  They also stressed the importance of scheduling six to seven flights a week to Batumi.  "I hope that flights to Ankara-Batumi will resume in the near future. Turkish Airlines plays an important role in the development of international trade," said the chairman of the association and thanked the for visiting.
