Today, within the framework of the event, working meetings were held with business councils included in the Council of Foreign Economic Relations (DEIK). The participants of the meeting discussed the issues on the agenda, the importance of increasing international partners, future plans and priorities. The meeting continued in a question-and-answer mode, where , Chairman of the Türkiye -Georgia Business Council of DEIK  and  International Investors Association of  Georgia Osman Chalishkan Mzhavanadze  emphasized the importance of strengthening trade and economic cooperation, promoting the implementation of more foreign investments and planning joint projects and events between the two countries, which again will contribute to the deepening of relations between the two countries.

On August 10, 2022, Chairman of the Türkiye -Georgia Business Council of DEIK  and  International Investors Association of  Georgia Osman Chalishkan Mzhavanadze,    paid a working visit to Nadir Alpaslan, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye. During the meeting, the parties talked about the cooperation between the two countries in the field of culture and tourism, current issues on the agenda and the planning of various joint activities in the future. Once again, Mr Osman thanked Mr. Nadir Alpaslan for  attending the tourism exhibition held in Batumi on May 13-15.

On July 8, 2022 Osman Chalishkan Mzhavanadze, Chairman of the DEİK/Türkiye-Georgia Business Council and International Investors Association of Georgia paid an introductory visit to Ambassador Designate of the Republic of Turkey to Georgia, Ali Kaan Orbai. Mr. Osman congratulated the ambassador on his new position and wished him success. At the meeting, the parties talked about the existing friendly and partnership relations between Georgia and Türkiye, the strengthening of trade and economic cooperation and the importance of attracting investments. During the meeting, the chairman of the association, Osman Chalishkan Mhavanadze, informed the ambassador about the status of the association and member companies and invited him to the investor' association.

On June 19, 2022, after the successful completion of the 13th International Exhibition of Tourism and Hotel Equipment, a tour to Trabzon was organized by the company Geonet Expo for the students of the Faculty of Tourism of BSU. As part of the tour, students toured the sights of Trabzon and visited Uzun Gol Lake and Sumela Monastery. At the end of the tour, the students thanked Osman Chalishkan Mzhavanadze, Chairman of the  International Investors Association of Georgia and Director of GEONET EXPO, for organizing the tour and similar opportunities. The students of the Faculty of Tourism underwent a one-month internship program during the EXPO BATUMI TRAVEL 2022 exhibition. They had the opportunity to participate in the organizational issues of the exhibition and gain knowledge and experience that will help them take future career steps.
