On February 21, 2022, Osman Chalishkan Mzhavanadze, Chairman of the DEİK/Türkiye-Georgia Business Council and International Investors Association of Georgia paid a working visit to Mirian Samkharadze, Head of the Sarpi Customs Checkpoint. During the meeting, the sides discussed the prospects of deepening trade and economic relations between the two countries, issues of cooperation in the field of customs to promote safe trade and the problems of smooth movement of trucks at the customs checkpoint and ways to solve it. Mr. Osman also invited the head of the Sarpi customs checkpoint to a construction exhibition scheduled for March 14-16 in Batumi. At the end of the meeting, Mr. Mirian thanked Mr. Osman for the visit and congratulated on his appointment as Chairperson of the DEİK/Türkiye-Georgia Business Council and wished him success.

On February 24, 2022, an information meeting with Georgian media representatives was held at the office of the Turkish Foreign Economic Relations Council (DEIK) in Istanbul. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Chairman of DEİK/Türkiye-Georgia Business Council members of the Türkiye -Georgia Business Council, Mehmet Ali Dimi, President of the Global Council of Journalists (KGK), Kahraman Haliscelik and representatives of the Turkish and Georgian press. During the meeting with the media, a presentation was made on DEİK's activities and future plans, the Chairman of the Turkey-Georgia Business Council spoke about Turkey-Georgia trade and economic relations.

On February 22, 2022, Osman Chalishkan Mzhavanadze, Chairman of DEİK/Türkiye-Georgia Business Council and International Investors Association of Georgia  paid a working visit to Tornike Rizhvadze, Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara. The sides discussed the deepening of Turkey-Georgia trade and economic relations, Georgia's investment climate and the importance of attracting more investment to the country. Mr. Tornike  congratulated Mr. Osman on his appointment as Chairman of the Turkiye-Georgia Business Council. He wish him success in fulfilling his mission and expressed full support for the deepening of relations between the two countries.

On February 10, 2022, Mr. Osman Chaliskan Mzhavanadze, Chairmen of the DEİK/Türkiye-Georgia Business Council and International Investors Association of Georgia, met with President of Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK), Mr. Nail Olpak. During the meeting, the sides discussed the economic problems created by the pandemic, the deepening of trade and economic relations between the two countries, the importance of foreign investment in Georgia's investment environment, and the planning of various joint events in the future. The President of DEİK congratulated Mr. Osman on his appointment as Chairperson of the DEİK/Türkiye-Georgia Business Council and wished him success.

On February 11, 2022, Osman Chalishkan Mzhavanadze, Chairman of the DEİK/Turkiye-Georgia Business Council and International Investors Association of Georgia, paid a working visit to Mahmut Asmal, President of the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MUSIAD). During the meeting, the parties discussed the crisis created by the pandemic, the investment environment in Georgia, the importance of attracting investments and planning various joint events in the future. The President of MUSIAD congratulated Mr. Osman on his appointment as Chairperson of the DEİK/Türkiye-Georgia Business Council and wished him success.

On February 9, 2022, Osman Chalishkan Mzhavanadze, Chairmen of the DEİK/Türkiye-Georgia Business Council and International Investors Association of Georgia, attended the opening ceremony of the EMITT 2022 International Tourism Exhibition in Istanbul. The company Geonet Expo also participates in the mentioned exhibition together with the Department of Tourism and Resorts of Adjara Autonomous Republic. Events like this during a pandemic are very important because companies are given the opportunity to share their experiences and learn about new technologies. We would like to inform you that the tourist exhibition Expo Batumi 2022 will be held in Batumi on May 13-15 with the organization of Geonet Expo, we are waiting for you all.

On February 4, 2022, Osman Chalishkan Mzhavanadze, Chairman of the International Investors Association of Georgia and the Turkey-Georgia Business Council of DEIK, paid a visit to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Georgia, Fatma Ceren Yazgan. The meeting was attended by Cengiz Mataraci, Deputy Chairman of the DEIK Turkey-Georgia Business Council, Omer Aydin, Member of the  Executive Board, and Ahmet Juniet Darchin, Trade Attaché of the Republic of Turkey in Tbilisi. During the meeting, the sides discussed the problems existing during the pandemic, the deepening of trade and economic relations between the two countries, the attraction of more foreign investment and the implementation of various joint activities and projects in the future.
