On January 13, 2014 was held one more charity event by International Investors Association. Secretary General of the Association initiated to help the Surmanidzes’ family living Kobuleti, being beyond socially vulnerable. The story was announced on TV last post. Where the children were talking about New Year's wishes, in the family are 5 minor children living in extremely difficult conditions. Mr. Osman Chalishkan acquired the necessary products for the family and personally visited Surmanidze’s family. In addition, children were given clothes, shoes and toys, and the housewife was given household inventory. Trying to enjoy them with dinner and make them fun by the special show in McDonalds was also organized by International Investors Association of Georgia. To realize this Charity event, the Association was helped by one of the member company, the textile factory “BTM”. International Investors Association of Georgia is going to continue the aid the Surmanidze’s family in the future.

“Ajara Textile” one more new factory opened

Regarding to the requirement of the world brand Puma to larger the enterprise began the construction of additional building in August. On the area of about 5000 sq/m was built the additional building after 3 months. The total territory is 14 000 sq/m, including canteen and other surrounding buildings for social using. Number of employees was 750 people up to November, but after the expansion of the enterprise there will be totally 1500 employees. Amount of investment reach $8 million. There are 600 employees in the factory which is located region of Queen Tamar in Batumi. After finishing the construction of the additional buildings, by the end of 2014, there will be 1500 employees in the factory which is region of Queen Tamar in Batumi and with two factories the total working employee amount will be 3000 in AJARA Textile factories. Ltd “Ajara Textile” produces the following brands: Puma, Lotto, Erima and from the next year will begin producing Nike. The brand has agreement with following teams: The main groups: Italy, Swiss, Czech Republic, Republic of Gana. Clubs: Newcastle United, Hoffenheim, Studgart, Bourdeauks, Sporting Lizbon, Stade rennais, Olympiacos, Feyenoord, Köln, Glasgow rangers, Fortuna duseldorf, Bursaspor, Rubin kazan, Arsenal.
