The first time in Batumi was held Regional Mini Football Championship among the Georgian and foreign companies promoting in Ajara, from 28 October to 7 November. The event was held by Mini Football Federation of Ajara A.R. and International Investors Association. The participants are: Consulate of Republic of Turkey, Nurol Georgia, System Inshaat, Smart, and the Hotel Sheraton, Zemin Technologist. The winner-companies were awarded with cups and diplomas. There were as well named the best players in following nominations: Goalkeeper, defender, playmaker, striker, top scorer in the championship, the tournament's best player. The sporting and cultural event will support strengthening of relationships between countries. International Investors Association has always supported the cultural and sporting events and will continue.

Mini Football Federation has laid the foundation for a new project. Brought together representatives of foreign companies operating in Ajara in the football teams that hold Championship and the first and the second places owners will receive a trip to Turkey with Turkish counterparts for a friendly tournament. These measures will deepen Georgia and Turkey's friendly relations at the same time sporty . International investors asotsiation on October 22, 2013 , in support of the project, invited representatives of member companies and arranged their first meeting with the President of Mini football Federation, Mr. Vakhtang Barabadze. Participants were introduced to the project and outlined the closest action plan.

On October 2, 2013 the Secretary General of International Investors Association, Mr. Osman Chalishkan held the consultative meeting with the owner of “Gunkar Textile”, Mr. Ugur Gunesh. The new investor has been invited by the association and plans to make a million dollars investment. In the nearest future be arranged meetings with appropriate institutions and solved the issue of location for construction. There are planned to employ 700 people. The investor got exhaustive information about investment environment in Georgia.
