ICC Georgia opened a new office in Batumi that has been in high demand from businesses in Ajara and it offers direct access to the services from ICC Georgia. The opening ceremony occurred on 28 February 2014, where a presentation was given by the Chairman of ICC Georgia Mr. Fady Asly and followed by a social event. The new office is collocated with the office of the International Investors Association. Osman Chalishkhan - Mjavanadze, who is one of the members of the Board of Directors of ICC Georgia, will be the senior representative at the new location. "I am delighted that such an influential international business community, such as the ICC in the regional representative of our association under the umbrella has been opened. This means that the joint efforts of various business segments, the region attract more foreign capital. "- said the Chairman of International Investors Association, Jemal Bingingulluoglu. “This is a positive step for Georgian businesses not only for Ajara but for the whole country, Ajara is a very important destination for investors from all over the world and the presence of ICC in Ajara will help them integrate very easily in the business life of the country” said Fady Asly Chairman of the Board.

On 20 February 2014 International Investors Association was visited by participant of TV program “Hero of Imedi”, Tamaz Mzhavandze. The guest was welcomed by the Secretary General of IIA, Mr. Osman Chalishkan. During the meeting were discussed the problems of disabled people and the ways of their solving. On the initiative of Mr. Osman will be signed a memorandum of co-operation between the Association and "For Rights of Disability People" organization. Their support for the implementation of projects and other initiatives will be made from time to time.

On January 13, 2014 was held one more charity event by International Investors Association. Secretary General of the Association initiated to help the Surmanidzes’ family living Kobuleti, being beyond socially vulnerable. The story was announced on TV last post. Where the children were talking about New Year's wishes, in the family are 5 minor children living in extremely difficult conditions. Mr. Osman Chalishkan acquired the necessary products for the family and personally visited Surmanidze’s family. In addition, children were given clothes, shoes and toys, and the housewife was given household inventory. Trying to enjoy them with dinner and make them fun by the special show in McDonalds was also organized by International Investors Association of Georgia. To realize this Charity event, the Association was helped by one of the member company, the textile factory “BTM”. International Investors Association of Georgia is going to continue the aid the Surmanidze’s family in the future.
