On 30 April, 2014 the International Investors Association of Georgia was visited by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Georgia and Armenia Mr. Hans Horbach, the Secretary General of the Association Mr. Osman Chalishkan hosted the guest. The goal of the visit was information exchange and the sides discussed issues of cooperation between the two countries and prospects of strengthening relations. The Secretary General of IIA provided all the information about investment environment in the region. Mr. Hans Horbach said that it is possible to attract investment in agriculture and in construction; The Ambassador stated that he would do everything that the Dutch was invested in Georgia.

On 18 April, 2014 the International Investors Association of Georgia was visited by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Georgia Zeki Levent Gumrukcu. The introductory meeting was held at the office of IIA. The chairman of the association Mr. Jemal Bilgingulluoglu and the Secretary General Mr. Osman Chalishkan hosted the guests. The goal of the visit was information exchange and business cooperation between two countries. Zeki Levent Gumrukcu is a newly approved Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Georgia. Memorandum of cooperation was signed between International Investors Association and Guide Association of Ajara, in the office of International Investors Association, above mentioned cooperation will have great importance for developing tourism in the Region. As a result of the agreement educational programs will be prepared for guides, promotional activities will be planned, conferences and seminars will be held for local and foreign specialists.
