The branch of the largest Turkish bank IşBANK opened in Batumi. IşBANK has expansion plans and it is going to open several branches in the other cities of Georgia. Every other facility opened in Batumi will promote new investments and employment in the region. Also, it will strengthen economic relations between two countries. Nowadays the bank has its branches in 10 different countries.

In joint cooperation with the Ajara Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ACCI) and the Ministry of Finance & Economy of Ajara (MOFEA) the tax and labor codes have been fully translated into the Turkish and English languages. From now on, investors are able to get acquainted with the tax and labor codes in Georgian, English and Turkish languages.

International Investors Association and the Employment Agency of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara signed the memorandum of cooperation. The agreement was signed by the Secretary General of the association and the director of the Agency. Within the cooperation, the Parties will hold joint conferences, seminars, workshops, working meetings and other events. Both sides appear to have a constant and close contact with each other, to provide share information about employment issues, technical and economic cooperation in the framework of the possibility. The Parties will exchange information about their activities.
