On September 22, 2023, Chairman of the Deik Turkey-Georgia Business Council and the International Investors Association of Georgia, Osman Chalishkan Mzhavanadze, together with the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey, Riza Kagan Yilmaz, visited the garment factory Adjara Textiles, a member of the Investors Association. During the meeting, the parties discussed the deepening of Turkey-Georgia trade and economic relations, the investment environment of Georgia and the importance of increasing foreign investments. The guests visited the Adjara Textile Garment Factory. Mr. Osman thanked the owner of Adjara Textiles, the founder and honorary chairperson of the Investors Association, Mr. Cemal Bilgingulluoglu, for his hospitality and wished him success.

On September 22, 2023, a working meeting between the chairmen of the Eurasian business councils of the Turkish Foreign Economic Relations Council (DEiK) was held online. At the meeting, the parties talked about Georgia-Turkey trade and economic relations, implemented activities and future plans. The meeting was also attended by the Deik Turkey-Georgia Business Council and the International Investors Association of Georgia, Osman Chalishkan Mzhavanadze.

On September 8-9-10, 2023, the 12th international exhibition of construction materials, technologies, and real estate "Batumi Build 2023" was held in Batumi, organized by the exhibition company Expo Batum. The purpose of Batumi Build 2023 is to unite local and international companies in the field of construction in one space, which will help to find business contacts and continue business relations in the region. It was possible to organize B2B meetings between companies at the exhibition. About 80 local and international companies participated in in the exhibition.

On September 1, 2023, on the Georgia-Turkey border, on the border side of the "Vale" customs checkpoint, the renovated customs checkpoint "Turkgozu" was opened. The official opening ceremony of the customs checkpoint was attended by Omer Bolati, Minister of Trade of the Republic of Turkey, Giorgi Kakauridze, First Deputy Minister of Finance of Georgia, Ali Kaan Orbai, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Georgia,  Vladimer Khundadze, Deputy Head of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, Osman Chalishkan Mzhanadze Chairman of   DEIK Turkey-Georgia Business    Council and the   International Investors Association of  Georgia,   representatives of the Government of Georgia and Turkey and the diplomatic corps. The members of the delegation visited the updated infrastructure and got acquainted with customs control procedures.

On August 24, 2023, Chairman of the Turkey-Georgia Business Council of DEIK and the International Investors Association of Georgia, Osman Chalishkan-Mzhavanadze met with Zaza Shavadze, Minister of Agriculture of Adjara. At the meeting, the parties talked about current topical issues and cooperation between Georgia and Turkey in the field of agriculture. Also, the importance of Agro Forum and Expo Batumi holding the Agro Batumi 2023 exhibition planned for October 6-8 was emphasized.

On August 3, 2023, the Chairman of the Turkey-Georgia Business Council of DEIK and the International Investors Association of Georgia, Osman Chalishkan Mzhavanadze, paid an honorary visit to Davut Guven, the chief physician of Ondokuz May University.

He met with representatives of the medical field in Samsun. At the meeting, the parties talked about current issues, Georgia-Turkey relations, the importance of appointing a direct flight from Tbilisi-Samsuni to Samsuni-Tbilisi, and prospects for the development of medical tourism. The chairman of the DEIK Turkey-Georgia Business Council and the International Investors Association of Georgia emphasized that such meetings are important for deepening relations between the two countries in the economic and cultural spheres and for planning various joint activities in the future. At the end of the meeting, Mr. Osman thanked the guests for the organization and support of the said meeting.

On August 5-9, 2023, the annual meeting of the heads of Turkish diplomatic missions abroad, the "14th Conference of Ambassadors", will be held in Ankara, under the organization of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey. Within the framework of the 14th conference of ambassadors, a panel discussion was held on the topic: analysis of trade, economic and energy issues of the Republic of Turkey. Within the framework of the event, they discussed Turkey's trade and economic relations, current topical issues, the importance of increasing international partners and future plans. Representatives of the government and diplomatic corps of the Republic of Turkey, chairmen of associations and non-governmental organizations and businessmen attended the said conference.
