On July 24-25, 2023, the 7th International Conference - "Georgia Against Counterfeiting and Piracy" was held in Batumi, organized by Sakpatent and the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) of the United States Department of Commerce. Conference participants discussed new trends in transnational illegal trade and modern methods of preventing digital piracy. Panel discussions were also held at the conference. The chairman of the Turkey-Georgia Business Council of DEIK and the International Investors Association of Georgia, Osman Chalishkan-Mzhananadze, took part in the panel discussion "Implementation of a successful partnership of the public and private sector in the field of the fight to prevent counterfeiting". He focused on public and private sector cooperation and the need to protect copyright. Mr. Osman thanked the organizers for organizing the conference and wished them success.
