Poti FZ was particularly attractive for textile manufacturing companies since finding/retraining the qualified personnel in Poti are longer a problem - due to the existing school/college that along with many other specializations also trains personnel in this field. The courses are free and funded by the Government of Georgia. Graduated students get relevant certificates. The most important fact is that college is equipped with modern machineries, including sawing machines.  Poti Free Zone is considered as a regional hub, which is attractive for light industries, also for regional trading and companies from heavy industries.
