Ajara Hosted first International Investment Forum” Invest in Batumi” Print

Batumi hosted first international investment forum. The event was held in the Sheraton hotel. Participants of the “Invest in Batumi-2014” are ( Czech Republic, Ukraine, Turkey, Holland, Spain, Hungary, Belarus) the government of Ajara, Georgian National investment Agency, foreign investors, foreign and local companies operating in Georgia, commerce and industry chambers, business associations media and others. The presentations are carried out by Georgian National Investment Agency, the Agency for Enterprise Development, the Ministry of Finance and Economy and the companies which are operating in the region.Also the International Investors Association of Georgia presented the activity of IIA and its member companies. The Region’s Investment climate and privatization projects were introduced to the Foreign and local Key businessmen. The forum were attended Chairman of the Government Archil Khabadze, Ministry of Finances and Economics David Baladze, Ministry of  Labour, Health and Social Care Nugzar Surmanidze, Ministry of Education,Culture and Sport Giorgi Tavamaishvili,  Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Ketevan Bochorishili,  the Georgian National Investment Agency Giorgi Pertaia,  the Chairman of the Supreme Council  Avtandil Beridze, and  the Mayor of Batumi Giorgi Ermakovi.  The meeting was also attended the chairman of the association Mr. Jemal Bilgingulluoglu and the Secretary General Mr. Osman Chalishkan and the representatives of the member companies of IIA. International Investment Forum “Invest In Batumi 2014 “ was held in the region for the first time. International Investment Forum will get annual Character and will be held next year.
