On January 16, 2024, Chairman of the Turkey-Georgia Business Council of DEIK and the Association of International Investors of Georgia, Osman Chalishkan Mzhavanadze, visited the Consul General of Georgia  In Trabzon  Nikoloz İashvili. He congratulated him on his appointment as Consul General and wished him success. In  the meeting, the parties discussed the current issues, Turkey-Georgia trade relations and planning various joint events in the future.
