On 3^rd of December, 2014 in the hotel Intourist Palace, Georgian business ombudsman Giorgi Gvakharia met with Turkish businessmen who work in the region of Ajara. The meeting was closed for media. Aim of the meeting was getting acquainted with existing problems and promotion of business environment. What specific claims have Turkish investors, in this regard they talked only about technical problems. According to Otar Rikadze, representatives of the ombudsman in Ajara, the investors expressed their remarks about visa regime. The meeting was also attended the chairman of the International Investors Association Mr. Jemal Bilgingulluoglu and the Secretary General of the Association Mr. Osman Chalishkan and the representatives of the member companies of IIA.

On 31^st of October, 2014, At the office of International Investors Association of Georgia was held the meeting, the main topics of this meeting was the construction of Hydro power plants, construction and the development of tourism business in Georgia - members of Businessmen Association of Turkey city Gaziantep were getting acquainted with investment potential of Georgia. Members of the delegation were informed about region by the Secretary General of International Investors Association of Georgia Mr. Osman Chalishkan. Investors are interested in construction of hydropower stations in Ajara.
